How do I start a Membership?
You can start a membership by going to the membership page and purchasing a 1-Month, 3-Month or 6-Month Subscription.
What if I order a Membership and don’t like the content?
All sales are final. Unfortunately, we do not take returns if you are unsatisfied with the content. We have taken every step we can imagine to provide as much information as needed for you to make an informed decision. However if you are deeply unsatisfied with a title please let us know so that we can take steps to remove content that meet the quality our community expects.
Can I get a Refund on my Membership?
When you purchase a Membership, no refunds are granted during the Initial Period. You may terminate a membership at the end of any membership period.
No refunds are given should your account be suspended due to violation of the term of the User Agreement.
How do I cancel my membership?
You can cancel your membership at any time by going to your Membership Page. Once there you should see options to cancel your membership near the bottom of the page. Since we do not prorate memberships you’re account remains in Pending Cancellation status, with full access to watch videos, until your renewal date at which time your Membership is cancelled. You will not receive a refund for un-used portions of your membership.
Can I mail in an order using a check/money order/credit card?
No, We can only accept online payments at this time.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express for online orders. The charge on your credit card statement will show as Lauman Training.
Can I use Paypal?
You can use paypal to purchase items in the shop. Unfortunately, we cannot process memberships with paypal – you must complete a membership purchase using a Visa, Mastercard, Discover or American Express Card.
How fast will my order ship and arrive?
Orders are typically shipped out within 5 to 7 Business days. How long they take to arrive depends on how far from Oregon you live. If you need faster shipping time please use the contact us form before placing your order.
Can I call and talk to Kitty?
Unfortunately, at this time we aren’t allowing people to call Kitty on the phone directly. This online community benefits greatly from Kitty’s expertise but we need to work together to protect Kitty’s time so that she continues to be able to create videos for you to watch. This means Kitty needs to be out working horses and not inside on the phone. We do plan in the future to offer one-on-one phone consultations but there will be a fee for this service. If you are interested in that service being available please let us know. When there is enough interest we will pursue this option.
Can I email Kitty directly?
If you are a member of the site you can submit questions about active and ongoing lessons and Kitty will do her best to answer them through the videos. The link to this form is located at the bottom of every page of the website. Please don’t expect a direct response to every email that you send Kitty. This online community benefits greatly from Kitty’s expertise but we need to work together to protect Kitty’s time so that she continues to be able to create videos for you to watch.
What’s the interactive part?
There are several parts to our online interactive community.
- Submit a Question: If you are a member you can submit questions about any of the active lessons. Kitty will then try to answer the question in an upcoming video. If there are many questions being submitted Kitty will answer those that are most popular and relevant to the video. An example of a good and relevant question is: “I saw that the horse you were working did this but my horse does this, how can I address that?”
- Interact Online: Members can interact with other people through our Groups and Forums. Interacting with others who are also watching the same content and working with their horses can be a valuable resource. Please note that Kitty does not regularly participate in the forums but can choose to do so at her discretion. The forums are not a place to submit questions to Kitty directly.
What videos do we have access to as Members?
You have access to everything. All past, present and future videos as long as your membership is current. You can watch as much as you want. You cannot share your login and password information with others. Violating this term can result in you being blocked from the site.
How often are new videos posted?
This depends heavily on the time of year. Kitty tries to post a minimum of 20 videos each month (5 days a week, 4 weeks a month). But sometimes this is just not possible depending on factors like traveling and events that the Lauman’s participate in. We reserve the right to delay posting or post multiple videos over several days.
